Thursday night weddings

Hey girls, I was told when booking my RH that Thursday ngihts were 'the new Friday' lol and that they were almost all booked already (end of Nov) for July of '07, so I booked it. But now, I feel like I'm the only one. I didn't have a problem with the Thursday thing, esp since most of our friends are either doctors and weekdays mean nothing to them or are teachers who are off for the summer... but I haven't seen anyone else on a Thursday! Am I the only one or are there other Thursday ngiht brides out there?!! I'm starting to get a little nervous

My MOH got married on a Thursday night ... but it was the day before July 4th, so everyone had 3 days off afterwards.

I have heard of a couple of people doing that .... the prices must be great!

Hi ...
don't be nervous .. i know a few people who have been to weddings on a thrusday nite .. i am getting married on a Tuesday nite granted the next day is July 4 but not everyone will have off .. so my reasoning to myself is that if the people want to come they will come no matter what the day .. it is a celebration of your wedding .. they will know plenty in advance to take the next day off if they want to..

You definitely didn't get tricked. My parents got married on a Thurs. A long time ago only the elite got married on thurs. I think u should rock with U. Plus like u said most of your friends are doctors and teachers. My FI is going thru rotations right now, they don't even have wknds!!

A good friend of FH and I is getting married on a Thursday in June of '07. So no, you're not the only one!

My cousin got married on a thursday at Oheka... it was the only night their prices were reasonable

Our whole family WAS there.. whoever is special to you WILL come no matter WHAT day!

i've heard of people doing that but usually before a holiday weekend where alot of people have the next day off...im sure there are other thursday brides out here

I'm getting married on a thursday and its worked out so well for a lot of things. And the people whoa are impotrant will always be there for you weekday or not.
