Thursday QOTD

Almost at the weekend ladies!

Today's Question:
Are you having a rehearsal dinner? Where will it be? Who is hosting it?

We're having one, at small catering hall/restaurant a few blocks from our church in Queens called Villa Russo. FH dad is thankfully paying!

We are having our RD two days before our wedding. Since we are getting married at NRC, we decided to have the RD at a restaurant right up the road called Cafe Testarossa. FH's mom is generously hosting the RD.

We had ours the Wednesday night before the wedding at Mill Creek Tavern up in Bayville since that’s where our church was…. they were awesome! DH and I were the “hosts” I guess… which was good bc then we got to pick out the whole menu.

Not sure we are having one because we have no rehearsal but If we have one it will be at our restaurant in Queens.

I don't know yet! Supposedly we are having one, and supposedly FIL's are hosting it, but nothing has been formally discussed or booked or anything, and way things are going will probably not come to fruition, or not be discussed until 11/23 when it's on 11/28, so I'm just going to remove myself from it and if it happens, cool, if it doesn't, oh well.

We are having a RD the night before the wedding. It will be at the Bulldog Grille in Amityville since that's right around the corner from the church. FILs are hosting it.

Apparently, FMIL sent out formal invitations last week. Would be nice if she sent me one so I could see it - oh yeah, and how about letting me know what time it is so I can schedule the actual rehearsal with the church!

I guess I should be grateful that they're doing something but honestly, I'm having a hard time with it.

HA HA SO FUNNY!! Our rehearsal dinner is 2 days before the wedding, and is also at Cafe Testarosa!

We had one the night before. To many out of towners in my wedding to have it any sooner. Out of 6 groomsmen, 4 lived out of state, Out of 6 bridesmaids, 1 lived out of state, 1 lived in the BX and my MOH lives in Paris. One of our readers are from NJ and of course my in-laws. So doing it the night before was a necessity.

Did it at the Snapper Inn. Don't recommend it. Love eating there, would never throw an event there ever again. Not sure DH will even go back to eat.

Oh forgot to say... it was hosted by my in-laws though I would bet DH paid for a lot of it. Since they live in NJ though most of the decisions were up to us and she had me help pick out the invitations.

We had one at the restaraunt right across from where we held the ceremony...and we paid for it ourselves...

We are having ours Thursday night (wedding is Sat)....FFIL wasn't too fond of having it Friday night...too much for some of the family to come out east two days in a row (whatever)...guess he got lucky since church only has rehearsals on Thursday's.

Currently, FFIL is supposed to pay for it...and FH is supposed to discuss it with him...I'm sort of at the point where I don't want anything from FH's family.

We are most likely having it at the Brickhouse Brewery in Patchogue.

Yes...we are having ours the Sat. before our wedding at La Famiglia in Smithtown and my FIL are hosting it

Haha well it makes sense! It's a nice restaurant and it's convenient and close by! Though FH and I have never eaten there ... one of our GMs has and had nothing bad to say. You will have to let me know how it goes!!!!!

I wanted it the night before on the Friday but I was the only one so....We are having the RD a week before on the Sat night. We arent rehearsing so it seemed more convienient although 2 oot'ers in the bridal party will not be able to attend. It will be at Pepercorns in Hicksville in a small private room off of the main restaurant. I love it there
