Thursday Wedding

Are catering halls open to doing weddings on Thursday nights? How much money do you think I can save per person for doing it on a Thursday? Any information about thursday weddings and any possible price cuts would be greatly appreciated.

alot of halls do thursday weddings and i think you can save a substantial amount of money. im not sure about other halls but my hall i think is like 80-90 cheaper per head

I know halls are open like 7days a week and Weds-Sun they have parties, ie sweet 16 and many people who are religious get married during the week

I'm sure a lot of RHs can do Thursdays. I think that day is becoming more popular now. Not sure how much you would save but it will definitely be less expensive.

I think a lot of places are much cheaper. It's actually a good way to save money. You would just have to give people a lot of notice. Send STD out way in advance. It will probably save you a ton!

RH are def. open on Thursdays plus they are a lot cheaper!

i personally am doing a Thursday night and saved about $90 pp. When we were going through the date to pick, majority of 2009 and part of 2010 was already taken at Flowerfield for the Thursday night. Definitely becoming more known

my cousin got married on a thurs night at Fox Hollow. It was beautiful, and he saved a TON of money.!!!!!

Yep! This is very popular, especially for Jewsish couples who can't do it on a Friday night or a Saturday. You can save a TON. price per head and guarantee will be MUCH lower.

I would love to save money but for me it's too much of a sacrifice. I alot of people would not be able to make it, and I feel they wouldn't be in the 'party' mood. But plnty of people do it and love it.

I know at the new hyfde park in they were willing to drop there gtd amt significantly...so I am sure you will be able to save a lot of money!

They are and like the previous girls said, it's a substantial savings When FH and I were checking out catering halls, we were told by two RHs that Thursday night is 'the' new night for weddings!!
