Stinks. I'm guessing the mother's rights were terminated and then they put a search out to find the father before they terminated his rights.

honestly this happened to someone I know too.

raised a boy for 4 years, mom gets out of jail for the 3rd time...after shes already violated her parole etc and the courts awarded the kid to her.

If you're not blood and the family wants the kid..he's theirs.

Yep..fuc*ked up.
