Tiara?

Hey ladies,

Just wanted to get an opinion on hair jewelery. I'm trying to decide between a tiara and a bridal comb that can be placed on the side of the head like a hair ornament, or just above or below a bun. I think a hair ornament might make for nice back shots while a tiara may clash with my necklace etc.

Thoughts?

I would think that if you're concerned about the tiara clashing with your necklace then maybe go with hair pins, the hair ornament, or maybe a headband type tiara??

Most of the headband tiaras are not so 'flashy' and you can keep it simple if you like and it would still look pretty. Or go with a small less ornate tiara?

I originally was going to go with a headband tiara but I fell in love with this tiara (the one that I wore for my wedding) and I HAD to have it - it went so well with my gown and veil.

I also like the idea of maybe hairpins for you- that also would add in a nice sparkle too for photos.

I picked out a tiara for myself because I've always envisioned wearing one on my wedding day. But I've seen a lot of brides wearing the hair clip and thought it looks so nice! If you're worried about a tiara clashing with the necklace, then go with the hair clip.

I have a 1910/40's type flexible headband with larger pearl flower clusters on each end..it is called a bun wrap. I have been trying to find a picture of one but I've had no luck!

but it is so different and classy elegant!!

I am thinking of using a flexible hair piece from Denise Leli!! I met at a trunk show at Bridal reflections and worked with her daughter Christi. there pieces are gorgeous!! they are a vendor on her and get great reviews. Def check them out for ideas.
