I can't figure out which one I want. I want something really nice but not too big and not too small.
Please post pics of yours so I can get more ideas of which one I want to go for.
TIA

Re: Tiara or Headband?
although many tiaras are pretty, I decided that it was too big for the look i was going for. i bought a headband instead. i will post a picture in a minute.
I'm wearing a headband. Tiara's weren't really my thing. Sorry I don't have a pic here.

Re: Tiara or Headband?
I think it really depends on you. I didnt want a tiara-after looking at about 300 of them I found one that I liked...I wound up having an issue with the Salon when it came in (it wasnt the one I ordered) and I wound up getting a headband from Denise Leli instead->which definitely fit me more then the tiara.
I would try a few one and see...maybe its just a matter of finding one you like. Also-you have to choose depending on the hairstyle you are going to go with.

I had a headband, and also a comb in the back with hairsticks.
All were from Thomas Knoell

I had a headband, but used it more like a tiara. It just wasn't really high. PIcs in album.

i dont want either actually. I am going to go for a hair comb something similar to this but no pearls
Some of my pieces in the wedding will have a pearl theme, where did you find this? I absolutely love it!

Oh yay! I found some in my hair trial photos. This is the one I bought but it is the store sample which has white pearls rather than ivory.

Re: Tiara or Headband?
mine was a DIY headband...i wanted something simple with a bit of sparkle to match my beach theme
I had a headband, and also a comb in the back with hairsticks.
All were from Thomas Knoell
I really like the bottom one... I guess I have to wait until I find my dress before I decide on hair accessories

Re: Tiara or Headband?
I just got a head band which is very flexible gold wire with pearls on it and antique looking pearl and crystal sparkly flowers at the end. I got it from Lillette's...my aunt insisted I just buy it and not go looking to price shop.
I'll try to find a pic. It is very antique, elegant looking. I knew I didn't want a tiara though.

Re: Tiara or Headband?
I actually had trouble finding something to put in my hair because of the crystals on my jewelry (it was my great grandma's!). I just wanted clusters of crystals that looked almost like ice to go in front of my curly ponytail (veil is going under the pony)
I looked EVERYWHERE and ended up buying one of those wire combs they use for the headpieces and a bunch of swarovski crystals from AC Moore and Michael's. I threaded them on wire and around the comb and voila - instant headpiece!! it's kind of a hybrid headband/tiara. I'm adding 2 snowflake hair pins to hold it on either side and it probably cost me about $25 (if that). It's perfect and EXACTLY what I wanted. I'll try to find a pic to post later.
You never know what you can make till you try!
