I've never been a fan of tiaras and dont want to wear one but my mom thinks I should. Are there any brides not wearing a tiara? What are some other alternatives?

You can wear a headband or a comb. They make some that are not as decorated, some that are very simple ...

I'm not wearing one. I am also not a fan (just for me, i don't like it, not everyone else). I am looking for a vintage looking clip or hair pin.
What about hair jewels?

I feel the same way about them. I dont like them and dont want to wear one as well. But of course mom thinks differently lol..I was thinking (since I'm wearing my hair down) of getting a nice hair clip or other little accessories to pin down..I really dont know. (sorry if I was just of no help lol)

Im really liking the hair jewelry since im probably wearing my hair down. Im not a fan of the tiara really. I havent even looked for any of this stuff yet. I should though.
<--hell no! My mom purchased a used one with missing crystals for me to try it out nad I wore for about three weeks around the houes and really felt like a idiot. I am not a princess!!!!!
Why am i going ot purchase something I would never wear again? They are pretty don't get me wrong but seriously it is a waste after the day is done.

Same here! I felt like a doofus whenever they put it on me while trying on dresses.

honestly, since i know i am not going to wear the band ever again, i really want to score a deal (plus the fact that i am overspending as is lol) so i am going to go to the fashion district and to check out some of those small shops that have them, i am sure with some time and patience, i will find what i am looking for~

My mom works in that area and she's always telling me about little boutiques with hair accessories. Im gonna try and go next week.

I struggled with this for a bit and ultimately decided to go with a comb (in my album).
It's made by a company called Tiger Lilly HERE is a link to their site. They have alot of things that are very different so maybe you might find something you like. Also, there is a vendor that I met at a bridal show that sells authentic Tiger Lilly for less then the website price in case you are interested.

Not sure yet, at first I wanted to wear a big tiara but I feel like that would take away from my dress and all, I think I may just wear a comb or bands
