tickets

I would really like to see a show before we have to go back to work (which is for me less than2 weeks) but its too late to order online for now (at least i think)

what can we do? Ive heard of people just showing up at box office and getting left over tickets.. has anyone done this?

There is a place in Time Square called Tickts or something like that.
They sell discounted tickets for shows every day. If you arent super picky about the show you can get great seats for a great price.
i used to do it all the time when i was younger.

also... most venues have a 'will call' office, so you can purchase the tickets now, and pick them up at the window and not worry about getting them in time.

what day are you going? TKTS is good but yeah you have to wait on some long lines. If you want you can get there around 9-10am when the line starts forming.

wait you didnt try to see if a show still has tickets? which show is it bc they might have something left, try that first.

you never know though. Otherwise try TKTS...going to will call you take your chances and might end up having to leave and getting nothing

TKTS also has alot of popular shows, its very few shows that they don't sell, one is the lion king and just 1 or 2 other shows and then also no ballets or opera shows. Ive seen alot of popular shows that were from TKTS, i knew ppl who worked there so i would just go there and pick up the tix from them, but they would tell ppl from earlier before they opened to put them aside. Sometimes they would even put them in an envelope with my name and let me to the front of the line and i would just pick them up.
