Oooh I love ebay DEFINITELY...but I don't believe the authenticity of anything on there even if they want to include authenticity cards, etc.

you can negotiate a little at the store itself... There isn't a place to buy discounted Tiffany items - except maybe ebay..
I had no idea you can negotiate with the store.

Re: Tiffany & Co. question...
if you know someone with a Tiffany's business account you get 15% on items under the business section -- which actually includes a lot of stuff. anyone can enroll for a business account as long as you have your own business, or the company you work for signs ups for an account. I recommend picking up the items you purchase in the store if you can since there shipping can be costly.

unfortunately there are a lot of fakes on ebay - so be really really really careful.
I wouldn't buy Tiffany's anywhere except Tiffany's. That's the only way you can guarantee the authenticity. I don't even trust the authenticity cards that some people show on ebay. And I think you can only negotiate at Tiffany's if you are spending thousands and thousands of dollars.

Re: Tiffany & Co. question...
I wouldn't trust eBay for Tiffany items.
About 2 yrs ago, I bought a Tiffany necklace off eBay. I believe I paid about 50% of the actual retail price at Tiffany's. The seller had a super high rating, like a 99.99% feedback store after selling 20,000 items. When I first received the necklace, I was happy to get such a good deal. I couldn't help but think it wasn't real.
If you like the Tiffany design, you are better off getting a jeweler to mimic the exact style. Then you can get the same style and not pay the Tiffany brand name price.

Re: Tiffany & Co. question...
i would never buy Tiffany & Co. jewelry from ebay, 3 out of 4 items that claim to be 'tiffany' are real good fakes, Tiffany itself has bought merchandise from ebay to see the authenticity and i believe a few months ago they let out a statement warning people...the merchandise are replica's and not real so the best route to go is to actually buy from the store!

Re: Tiffany & Co. question...
My brother has actually worked for T&Co for years & there are no authorized dealers other than their retail stores. The co. spends tons of money trying to stop the selling of fakes all over the world. Also- the store never negotiates price. They really pride themselves on their exclusivity & not doing things like sales, etc. Its a little snooty, but that's the way they are.

Re: Tiffany & Co. question...
I think they are pretty strict on their exclusivity like some of the other girls have mentioned, but I know this site has some pretty decent knock-offs
