FH's BIL is a cop in harlem and was stuck there all day. Tigers are beautiful, but you have to be insane to keep one in your house!!!!

I know!!! Tigers are beautiful animals!! But to have one as a 'pet' and an 'alligator'???? YIKES!! And he caught Rats for it....and some neighbors said it roamed the hallways...could you imagine that police officer who drilled in that Hole...peeked in...and saw a TIGER?!! I think I woulda been absolutely terrified for my life!!!!

i heard about this yesterday too! how crazy - imagine living in that building - that thing could have killed someone!! they are beautiful creatures and it seems a shame to keep one in an apt - they need space, proper environment, etc....imagine that poor cop with the tranquilizer - i would have peed on myself from fear!!

I dont' think it's a matter of the guy having it being sick, but ignorant! I mean HELLO it's a tiger. Did he not read about Roy Harm of Sigfried and Roy who has dealt with tigers for over 20 years and even he was mauled by one the other night??? These are beautiful creatures but they can turn on a human like *that*.

Poor tiger - you can't keep a thing that big in an apartment - he's lucky it didn't kill him. Same with the crocidile. He was endangering the lives of his neighbors and himself and his family. Ignorant.
