Thanks so much, that was really helpful. So overall, you thought those 3 entrees were good? we are going with the same chicken and the chateaubriand too and just want to make sure they are good (I went to a wedding recently where everyone who had the steak was complaining it was tough, etc.). We are going to Hawaii for our honeymoon too, sounds like a similar wedding!

Re: Timber Point Country Club
We had all 3 meals the day of our wedding. Phil ate all of the chicken and I had the fish and we shared the chateaubriand . Everything was delicious.
Also, I went to novli04bride's wedding a month later at Timber Point CC and I got to eat all the food all over again. I got the chicken and Phil got the chateaubriand. One of her dishes was a little bit different, I think it was the fish, but I can't remember. But the food was great.

Hi! I got married there last November! Yes, I had the same entrees, but for the fish they substituted the Bourne Mansion fish--grilled mahi mahi with papaya sauceHere's my review

Thanks girls. I guess those are the 2 most popular things to get - the chateaubriand and the chicken with mozzeralla and tomatoes! Thank you so much!

I'm having our reception there as we;;. We haven't done the menu yet but we were at a wedding there last year,. The food was outstanding and I'm not just saying that. We had the Prime Rib and it was the BEST I've ever had and I swear I'm not just saying that. I do wish they had more food at the ct hour.
They didn't run out or anything but it looked small. We added the raw bar to 'beef' it up a bit.

There was a ton of food at the CH, and they never ran out of anything. I think we had two carving stations, 8 passed foods, and a bunch on the tables. We added the chocolate fountain at the end, which was a great hit. I would definitely recommend getting that.

I'm getting married there in October and I went to a food tasting a few months ago. We had the mahi mahi, chateaubriand and chicken in filo pastry. The beef and chicken were both excellent and I will go with those choices. The mahi mahi was quite spicy so for the fish I will probably pick the halibut.

That's what we thought too, so we asked and they changed it to the grilled mahi mahi with papaya and mango sauce (at no extra cost). Delicious. The cheateau briand was very good.
