Timber Point Country Club - RH RAVE
I wanted to share with everyone, a LOVELY letter my mother wrote to Lessings... I will rave about them in my review JUST YOU WAIT... but for now, this letter needs to be shared.. FYI- Nicollette was my bridal attendant.
To Whom It May Concern:
My daughter, Caroline XX, was married this past Friday, September 14, and we had her wedding reception at Timber Point. As busy as I am trying to make up for lost hours at work because I was helping her with last-minute wedding plans, I must take the time to write you to tell you that the day went absolutely flawlessly because of the Maitre d’ Steve Melita and Nicolette Orapello (I apologize for not knowing exactly what Nicolette’s actual position is, but I must acknowledge how very helpful she was).
The entire wait staff was extremely cheerful and helpful, anticipating all the needs of our guests, but I found myself searching out Nicolette and Steve–and finding them was easy because they were always readily available. (One of my guests, who happens to be the manager of a country club in Sarasota, Florida, noted how comfortable the staff was with Steve, and how important that relationship was for excellent service to the patrons.) The mother of the groom was concerned about the place cards being put out, and Nicolette handled her concerns with professionalism and calm, explaining that they would most definitely be put out in plenty of time for the reception–as well they were! Steve kept the entire affair running smoothly, and followed my daughter and son-in-law ‘s activities beautifully. In fact, we had asked for permission to bring bowls of candy for a special candy table after dinner, and Steve had them set up magnificently. We couldn’t possibly have asked for more attention to detail.
I don’t have to tell you how beautiful the location is, or how elegant yet intimate the ballroom and patio are. Anyone who views the club can see that. What they don’t “see” is how good the food is and how solicitous the staff is. I will be sure to spread the word.
Again, thank you, thank you, thank you for a perfect day. I only wish I had more children to marry off at Timber Point!
Yours most sincerely,
Carol XX
