How many people came to your TPCC wedding? too Small for your number?

Well I am getting married December 5th. I am inviting 142 (at the moment)...hoping for around 100-115 (very afraid it will turn out to be 130).
Timber Point told me they could hold around 200 or so.
I will be very happy to have a smaller crowd that can move around and socialize easily and comfortably.
What were you thinking?

I just found some older posts aabout TPCCand guest lists .... most said they had or attended weddings there from 100 to up to 140ppl which were very comfortable but that it would probably begin to feel a little cramped after that.

I agree with the point about 200 - think it would be too many people

My Brother in law had around 130ish at TCC-- I think once you get up past the 140 mark you should switch to banquet tables (JMO) it seemed a little tight with all rounds.
They take out banquets for large weddings and that is how they get 200 people in there.
My sister got married at Smithtown landing and did a combo of round and oval and it was BEAUTIFUL! That's a small hall and not cramped at ALL-- she had about 125!

I was there today to pay a portion of the balance, It was set up for 140, it was beautiful and was very comfortable

i think the smaller the better honestly. i went to a wedding there with 200 people and it was insanely crowded.
