Timber Point Questions

Hi Everyone! I'm new to this site, but so happy to have found it because you all seem SO helpful! :) I'm getting married at Timber Point next summer and was hoping some other Timber Point brides could help me out with a couple of quick questions.

1 - If you had your ceremony & reception at Timber Point, did you take pictures anywhere else or were there enough picture opportunities at Timber Point to just do the pics there? Any recommendations of picture locations close to Timber Point that you liked?

2- Do you know if the dance floor is always located at the end of the ballroom near the fire place? We're probably going to be using the oval tables and I'm trying to maximize the size of the dance floor so just wondering if that's the best location for it.

i had my wedding there in may.

we took pictures inside on the staircase and all over the golf course. then some with us in front of the mansion (in the back of it).

we actually opted for the dancefloor on the left by the fireplace. i worked with jake and i was really specific about it. i wanted all oval tables as well. i think we ended up doing 3 rows of 6, and then the entire left side was dancefloor and a few high top tables for people to rest drinks on, etc.

it worked out really well.
