This past weekend I went back to my venue, Timber Point, and they put a new tent over the back outdoor area where the ceremony will be and I really don't like it! It looked so much more open and cleaner without it, I am kind of bummed about it. Oh well, I guess their is nothing I can do about it.

I got married there 3 weeks ago when they hadn't put that tent up yet. I know they said the week before my wedding that the awning they had was destroyed by the hurricane and their new one wouldn't be in for a while. So since your wedding is next summer, I wouldn't worry too much about it. It probably is just temporary to accommodate outdoor ceremonies until the new awning is installed.

unfortunately it is there to stay. I am hoping when I go to the showcase this summer it won't be as bad as I remember it.

I called Neal about the tent and he said it is just temporary until the permit comes in for the new awning! woohoo!

Lauren how did you like getting married at Timber Point? What did you think of the food? Did you do any add on's to cocktail hour? What did you like best least food wise? I am possibly booking today after out tasting. What day did you get married?
