I am planning a wedding for 9/2013 with about 100 guests. Does anyone know the going rate for a Saturday event at Timber Point? It's a far drive for me so I don't want to be disappointed if I can't afford it. I was also wondering if anyone can confirm it is indeed one event at a time. Thank you ladies!

Re: Timber Point Venue
I can't say exact because I booked with 2010 pricing but it was the most reasonable venue we could find that we were happy with all around. The only thing we did to really help us with the per person price is to move our original date of September to November and we saved a lot per head. I'm also having a saturday day wedding. HTH

Re: Timber Point Venue
I believe for a sat night in sept it is about 85 per head plus tax and tip, but I think the minimum is more than 100, either 125 or 140. When I get home I can check for you. It is definently one wedding at a time tho!

Re: Timber Point Venue
Yes, Timber Point is only one wedding at a time. When we looked in 2010, all the prices were under $100 pp...and as other people said...there prices were the best we found (and we visit A LOT of halls). And lucky enough for us, it happened to be the place we fell in love with! It's so worth the trip!

Re: Timber Point Venue
It is one event at a time however, their is a restaurant and golf course there but you will def be the only wedding.
I really liked Timber point and I almost booked their back in 2010 when I was venue shopping. The only thing that stopped me was their is an additional 20% venue/gratuity charge, on top of a 15 or 20% service. I don't remember the exact wording or pricing since it was 2 years ago. I ended up deciding aganist it because the other venue I liked was the same price and gave me a little bit more.
Its a beautiful place, def worth the drive if you are interested, just do all the math before making a decision.

Re: Timber Point Venue
We got $65 for a sunday twilight, so a sat evening won't be too bad there. Definitely love it there and they are sooooo willing to work with you!
