Timberpoint Brides?
I am going back to Timberpoint this week for a second look. Does anyone have any advice on what I may be able to negotiate a little bit on with them, ie lowering the minimum or adding certain extras? TIA!

i am a timber point bride!!! i didn't actually go to sign the contract bc i live in boston, but my sister negotiated and got things like the chocolate fountain thrown in. DEFINITELY try to get some things thrown in...like after dinner cordials or a chocolate fountain.
Negotiate like mad! We did, and got a fab price.
Thanks guys, I am really hoping they will consider giving us some 'extras' that are included in another hall's price as part of their basic package. Wish me luck!
I loved the timberpoint, that was in our top 3. The only thing was the cocktail hour room wasnt going to fit 150 people sitting down. I would recommend a summer/fall or spring wedding and hope for a nice day. They quoted me 48$ a person in the summer time because they had the dates available, this was in December and they were willing to throw in the fountain. It was hard to resist the price they gave me but I wanted my wedding to be right on the water!! They will DEFINATLY work with you. The lady who I talked to is so nice!! Good luck Oh and they include centerpieces which is a HUGE savings.
Timber Point is sooo nice, almost booked it! They are so reasonable, and the guy we met with was already giving us deals before we even tried to negotiate... so don't hold back! Also, Lessings is a fabulous caterer - everyone will LOVE the food!
I also am a Timber Point bride. Def. negotiate. We got them to lower the minimum # of guests and they worked with us on the price per head.
I'm also a Timber Point Bride. I booked about 2 weeks ago. I got them to lower the price by increasing the # of guaranteed guests from 100 to 125. I straight out asked, 'Can you do any better on the price?' And their response was, 'Yes. What do you want to pay?' I love it there and an soooo happy with my choice.
