Hi Ladies, These questions are for ladies already married: Do you recommend a make-up trial before ther wedding? Also, is 3 hours enough time for hair and make-up for a bride and a bridesmaid, plus getting dressed time? Does anyone have suggestions for time savers that morning..I need to be in the limo by 8:30 AM latest for pre-ceremony pics. Thanks!

I'm not married yet, but here's my opinion:
YES, I highly recommend a makeup trial before the wedding. Sometimes even if you know exactly what you want, your makeup artist may not 'get' it and you might not be pleased with how it comes out. Better to get a trial and if something needs to be changed, you would know then.
3 hours should be enough for bride and bridesmaid to get ready. Is the same person doing hair AND makeup, or two different people?
Time savers - get a big plastic bin (I like to call them big tupperware, lol) and put EVERYTHING you will need for that morning to get ready. Your undies, your bra, your jewelry, your headpiece, shoes, etc etc etc. Whatever shouldn't go in there (dress, veil, crinoline) hang nearby. This way you're not looking for things the morning of.
I also recommend you get a second bin with things that need to go to the church or ceremony location (unity candles, programs, petal cones, baskets, marriage license, etc). This way it can just be brought over without having to put things in different bags/boxes, etc.

Mrs. Q hit everything on the head that I would have said.. I'm not married either, but these are things I'm planning to have set aside. Definitely get a makeup and hair trial...you never know how it's going to come out!!

Yesenia, you are the best ! I love Target for organizer bins when they are on sale.

Re: time!
Thank you...I will definitely try those suggestions. I am dropping off the reception items earlier that week, so I can just focus on the make-up and everything else.

Re: time!
I have 1 person doing both of our hair and my make-up; a second person will do just the BM's make-up.

Re: time!
Im married and yes definitely a trial before then-this way you can tweek things before the day of to get the look you are going for. 3 hours should be more then enough time for the bride and BM to get dressed, hair and makeup done! I agree with the above-have everything that you need set aside so that you dont have to run around looking for anything. That will save you alot of time.
