how long is it between the end of ur ceremony and the start of ur reception? is it bad if our ceremony ends at 4:30 and the reception doesn't start till ? the church is in east meadow and the hall is in woodbury, which is about a 20 min drive. TIA!!

My ceremony starts at 2:20 and we won't get out until about 3:30/3:45. My CH starts at 6:30 the drive is from Centereach to East Patch.

my ootg are going to my FH sister's house- her house is huge & live 2 blocks away from our hall - otherwise they can go back to their hotel

There are 3 hours between my cermony and reception. Our wedding is on a Friday so I don't know how many people will actually go to the ceremony, but my aunt is inviting everyone over to her house after the ceremony for cocktails and snacks...
Nothing we could do about the time difference, we had scheduling problems

Not getting married in a church, but our ceremony starts at 3:30 pm and our CH starts at 5:00 pm. We're taking pictures before the ceremony so that helps. Travel to the Reception site from the garden where ceremony will be is five minutes. Our guests can enjoy the gardens for a short time and then go to the Reception, or they can sit at the lounge at the hotel and have a few drinks before heading to the CH.
We didn't want a lot of time between ceremony and reception so this suits us perfectly.

Church is at 2 Cocktail hour is at 7 We have a 45 min drive to the hall, but we are going to the Old Westbury Gardens to take pics inbetween
