I have to be at the reception hall for the ceremony at 11:00 for pics. What time do you think I should schedule my hair? I was thinking 8:00am. To early? BTW, does anyone know of any good beauticans that will come to your house at that time? I live in Suffolk County. TIA

Re: Time for Hair and Makeup? What do you think?
I think you should leave at least 2.5 hours for hair and makeup..usually the artists say its takes them about an hour for each but I know from experience it may take longer so its better to be safe!
I think all the vendors on here will travel to your home on the day of. Try Jaqueline Nicole, Oksana, and Jillan-Gorgeous Faces, they seem to be very popular.

Oh my god!!! 2.5 hrs!!!! That means that I have to start at 7am. Did you ever hear of any vendors starting so early?

Tjay,
Don't worry about the time. Vendors are accustomed to starting even earlier than 7 am. You'll be fine. Get a move on, though. You'll find many stylists and makeup artists are booked already. My wedding is in July and many stylists and makeup artists were already booked when I called over a month ago.

You aren't going to like this...
My wedding is at 11am and I'm having people come to my house to do my hair and make-up and that of my bridesmaids and my mom. There are 5 of us altogether and my photographer is coming at 9.
My hair and make-up people will be at my house at 4:45am. Kill me now!!!!
ETA: I'm using Jacqueline Nicole and The Hair Genie. Both are fantastic!
