How much time have you scheduled for pictures in between the ceremony and the reception?
Also I'm wondering how earlier you are having your photographer come to your house (or where you are getting ready) to do getting ready pictures?
I booked 8 hours with my photographer but Im trying to figure out if I should get more.

Time for Pics?
Our photographer is coming at 1. Ceremony is at 3. Cocktail hour starts at 7. We have our photographer until midnight. Reception ends at 1. We have 2 photographers and 1 videographer for a total of 11 hours.

Fortunately my venue and church are very close because our ceremony is at 4 and our cocktail hour is at 7. My photographer is a close family friend so she'll be with us from whemever I tell her to come till the end of the night.

I only booked 8 hrs with mines. I'm having photos taken 2 hrs prior to the ceremony for I plan to eat and mingle with my guests during cocktail hour!

Ceremony and reception are at the same venue, so we are taking our pics before the ceremony. We have our photographer all day.
