Just wanted to send out a message asking how all of you ladies manage your time- as far as wedding planning.
As I search the boards and read all of the posts, I feel like I am sooo behind in my wedding preparation. I happen to have a three day weekend, thanks to Martin Luther King Jr. Day, but as a teacher, I normally find that I have very little time to do ANYTHING other than work (lesson plan, grade, etc.)
Does anyone have any advice as far as how to better manage time when working full-time? Between planning for, and then grading research papers and regents exams for my kids at the end of the year, I will be crazed.
Has anyone been in my shoes and is willing to offer advice?
Thanks!

Re: Time management
I'm not a teacher, but I have a pretty packed schedule with work, and besides the past 3-4 weeks, I normally hit about 60 hours of work, and by the time the weekend rolls around am exhausted. I have a mental checklist (you can do a regular one) that you just work off slowly. I haven't done a lot of things 'in advance' but you just allocate a few hours a week to do one thing. As long as you get the big things out of the way, then the rest you can handle little by little (for example on holidays).

Re: Time management
Maura,
I hear ya between work, and grad school full time, ieps, and data my life is a mess
One thing that has really worked is devoting one night a week to wedding planning (this is my thursday night) I get to work early on thursday and prep for friday so that I have all thursday after work to work on the plans
your not behind though! Cant wait for the big day!
