Hey girlies...im new to posting on here...we just got engaged Oct 3rd. We have picked our date as Oct 24, 2008. I know exactly what dress I want but was wondering when do you guys think I should go order it....is January too late? I also picked out Bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dresses from Davids Bridal, when do you think those should be ordered? Thanks for your help!!!

congrats and welcome! i got my dress from davids bridal.. i picked it out and took it home that same day. they are a 'ready for you' shop as they call it.. i got my dress a few months ago.. just ordered bm and fg dresses a few weeks ago and they are already in.. so if you use davids it wont take long at all. they werent supposed to be in til november. good luck.

You are safe with your time frame. If you order your dress in January you should get it in time.

Every designer is different so there's no single answer. Ask the shop where you're going to buy it what their time fram is and then go from there. Congrats!!

My MOH dress is from Davids and it took about a month to come in. My dress and other BMs dresses, ordered from another store, will take about 6 months max to come in. Thats what the store told me. My dress should be in about January, the girls about February. I think your allowing yourself plenty of time.
