Did anyone have a wedding ceremony beginning at 2pm, where they could share how their 'prep time' went??

Our reception is at 330pm so i'm hoping to get some pics in between the church and then so we don't miss our cocktail hour.

I am sooo against seeing FH before the wedding!

Help!

My wedding is at 3:30 and I don't want to see FH before the ceremony either.

But, like you, I want time for pictures, and hopefully to attend some of my own CH, which starts at 6pm!

I've planned it so that there is minimal travel time -- Church has a park right outside and the Reception is literally down the block from the Church.

Here's how I'm scheduling my day -- so far -- any past brides who want to help me plan this better please help!


12:30-2pm pictures of me, BM, and family
2-2:30 photographer goes to meet FH at Church
2:30-3:15 picutres of FH, ushers, and FILs
3:15 guests arrive at Church
3:30 I arrive at Church
3:40(ish)-4:10 (ish) Ceremony
4:15 Receiving Line
4:30-6(ish) Pictures
6-7 CH
7-11 Reception

how about starting in the morning?
hair, makeup, showers, everyone is getting ready at my moms house ... what time are u starting?

I would start as early as possible to account for late persons (there are always late persons. Even on your wedding day. Life happens). I lived ten minutes from my church. This was how long stuff acutally took (which was pretty close to schedule - amazing!)

7:00 am to 10:30 am - BM, Bride, and MOB at Hair Salon (My appointment started at 7:00, because I got curls set and make-up done, my BMs appointments were at 8:00 am and they left at 10:00 to get dressed, but they came early with bagels and donuts)

10:00 am to 11:00 am - BM dress

10:30 am to 11:30 am - Bride and MOB dress

10:30 am - Flowers arrive

11:00 am - Photographer arrives to set up

11:30 am to 1:30 pm - Pics of all of bride's immediate family and BM (My BM also packed us a snack, during this time, so cute).

1:30 pm - Load everyone up - Limos arrived

1:45 pm - Left my Mom's house

2:00 pm - Arrive at church.

ETA:

Ceremony and receiving line were over by I think 3:15 ish, but then we took pics, so maybe we left the church at 3:45

4:00 - Arrive at pic place (ten minutes from mom's house)

4:00 - 5:15 - Pics Pics Pics

5:15 - 5:30 - Travel to East Wind

5:30 - 6:30 - Pics of just me and DH at EW

6:30 - 7:30 -- Attempt to get group family shots that was a mess due to my family having too much fun at CH and thus being unable to be found. People showed up for the CH a HALF HOUR early. (Which was weird. I mean, a half hour early for the CH. Since there was no wedding before us, they let them in, which made things NUTS, as people were trying to say hello to us in the front lobby when we're trying to take pics - seriously worst mistake. Here's advice- if taking pics at hall just prior to CH, take pics in ballroom away from arriving guests and not in front lobby even if it has a pretty fire place.)

6:30 (should have been 7) - 8: CH

8-12 Reception
