How long before your wedding did you have your bridal shower - or if you know when yours is - how long will it be before the wedding?

Is 3 months too much time before the wedding??

I think that is good b/c I presonally do not want to have people spending money right before the wedding

i had mine november 1st for my january 16th wedding so it was about 2 1/2 months. i don't think 3 months is too bad.

I had mine October 3 for a Dec 26th wedding

I think 3 months is usually the average, but I think in the end its personal choice and can be anytime.

I will be having mine 6-7 months before the wedding. Most of my guests are from OOT and I know they will have exspense with airfair and hotel I dont want them spending so much money to close to the wedding on a gift
