Timeline

Ok ladies - what time are you getting your hair done - in relation to your ceremony time? In order to give the photographer a good few hours before our 8pm ceremony (and 7pm rehearsal with most of the wedding party), my hair appt is for 11:30-1pm. Makeup at 2:30 back at the hotel, so I can be in my dress and ready for pics with my girls and family by 4pm. I'm just so worried that my hair is gonna look bleh by the ceremony time. I mean, there's 7 hours in between my hair appt and showtime. Maybe its just because I have finer hair and it tends to 'fall'.
Are you all getting your hair done much earlier than ceremony time? If so, what are you doing to ensure things still look right hours later?

Timeline - Long Island Weddings

if you are wearing your hair down, the hair stylist will most likely make really tight curls so that by the ceremony, they will fall to exactly the way you want... if your hair is up then you'll be just fine

we are doing hair and makeup around 930 together, and will leave by 12- we are then going back to my house for pics and everything, and then heading to the church for the ceremony at 330

Re: Timeline

I'm having my hair girl stay so she can fix my hair if I need it. I'm also having her put it somewhat up for the reception so I can dance all night

more $$$$ but it's piece of mind that if my curls start to be really fall she can fix it.

also since we're doing pictures at OWG we have a really early day. like at 3 pm we're going there.... and ceremony isn't until 7:30 pm.

I should have said oh well all our photos will be at night & made it a later day lol. but I know I'd regret no daylight shots on my wedding day. so long day it is.
