How many times did you view the venue before you actually signed the contract? 2nd viewing..showed parents..food tasting..negotiating..etc.

We went alone the first time and then we scheduled a second appointment to show our parents/negotiate. After we knew everyone loved it as much as we did and confirmed the date with my church we signed the contact.

Yeah, I think we went 3 times before booking. We went once with just us, then went back to do a tasting with his mom and my grandma, then I went back with my mom a third time. Then we booked.

We went twice...after we met with our church and solidified a date we booked we showed our parents after we booked (we are paying so I didn't care if they liked it lolol) dates go fast I didn't want to risk loosing mine.

We went to all of our apts with FHs parents. They are incredible-- super helpful, warm, fun, and have very good taste. They are splitting the cost with my parents so they have a lot of input. We loved the place but FH's mom didn't at first. She really wanted us to get married at a synagogue, but it wasn't us. We had my parents go the following week when they were in town but we didn't go with them. Then, we went back with FH's parents when we were almost 100% sure. We saw Bridgeview again, and we were all ecstatic. His mom (who I later found out probably went on her own another time as well) loved it just as much as we did. We booked that night.
