Timeline Question

Hi guys,
We are having some issues with the morning timeline- we're having a 1130 ceremony all the way out east, and we might not have a choice but to leave from our homes which are all the way west of the location (about an hour and a half).
My question is, has anyone ever had or planning a very early timeline (ie. bride will be getting ready at 4am, leave her house about 730, at location about 9, pictures from about 9:30-11, ceremony at 11:30.

Any input would be helpful. Thanks

Re: Timeline Question

I don't have an early timeline, but has she considered getting a hotel closer to where the ceremony will take place and get there? That sounds like an awfully long day for her, and it will be non-stop!

if it were my problem i would just omit the photos before and just do them after the ceremony. JMO

Re: Timeline Question

Unfortunetly, I dont think staying in a hotel is going to be an option.
I guess we'll just have to make it a very early morning.

I have the same timeline and doing photos after ceremony will cut into cocktail hour (we're getting married at the hall). So, staying at the Marriot Islandia, getting up at 5:30 to get hair and makeup done at hotel (all of us, BMs included), leaving at 8:30 to go to Giorgio's, pix from 9-11, short rehearsal from 11:15, ceremony at 11:30, cocktail hour at 12:00, reception at 1:00 - 5:00. Tight day but that's how we had to do it.

Re: Timeline Question

My timeline is also crazy tight.

As of right now, here is my plan:

Night before stay at either the Hyatt Windwatch or the Hilton Garden Inn. Start hair & makeup (for me) at 6 am. Leave hotel by 8:15 and go to Land's End for pictures. Pictures from 8:30 - 10:00. Leave for church in St. James by 10:15 am. Full mass from 11-12. Arrive at Lands End at 12:30 (start of CH). Take more pictures for 1/2 hour and then relax and enjoy.

I couldn't even imagine getting up at 4 am. I am trying to find a way to start my day later but this is the best I can come up with right now.

In 81 days, I will let you know how it all works out.

Good luck!
