anyone hear anything about a suspicious van being investigaged in Times Square... my mom is in Vegas and apparently they are getting ALERTS about it...

but Fh checked the NYE ball agian this year.
all is well on his end!!!!!
but he did mention how the security didnt even check for his ID when he went in yesterday to check the balls (haahah) power!!!!
i was just on 5th ave walking passed 42nd and there were all types of police vans, fire trucks and there is a helicopter above- as a new yorker i got worried and hurried back to work

Yea, we can't leave our building through the main entrance. So I'm stuck.
How stupid that this van has sat there for two days!!

Good news! They just came on loudspeaker in my building and said they are reopening 7th avenue to traffic so I'll still alive to be on LIW!
