No, we're not using them since our photographer is FH's family friend, but I did meet with them (before we decided on FH's friend) and I was totally impressed with their work!
From what I remember, the photos were more of a photojournalistic and candid style (that I LOVE) and the prices were comparable to that of other photographers in the area that I had met with too. You can also ask for a mix of traditional posed shots and candids, if that's your preference. I looked through several books of photos of weddings from beginning to end (you can see the story of the day that the photographer tells through the pics that way), and a few books were of many weddings put together in a sample book. They had different package deals from which to choose.
I have a photography background (had my own darkroom in college & develop my own film and B&W prints) so I knew what I was looking for. Don't let the photo studio attached to the side of his house scare you off, because the quality of his work was AMAZING!!!!! Lots of detail shots, beautiful candids that capture the moment, lots of emotion in the pics, some B&Ws with hand-coloring (I think they're now done digitally rather than by hand anymore). I loved them all!
