timing dilema- a little long

timing dilema- a little long

OK, I had planned to have the rehersal the week before the wedding but we just found out that the Pastor won't be in town so we have to do it earlier- like in a week or so-we find out tonight. FH and I are on tight budgets and were only going to get pizza or something for the NY BP for the night after the rehersal.

My plan for the large sit-down dinner was to combine it with my BP and OOT guests in one to save money---that would mainly be my 2 OOT BM- their guys and their mom- who are basically family and my cousins with the BP and any add ons FMIL has- which she'll pay for. This way- 2 birds with one stone. This would be at 7:00 the night before the wedding- we have to get up at about 4:30-5:00 the next morning tho.

My mom thinks that the dinner isn't good to have the night before but my MOH thinks its a good compromise. No one gets left out- I can treat my OOT guests like I wanted to and I'm not paying twice for the BP people who are choosing to stay at the hotel as well.

I know this sounds complicated so if I need to clarify let me know- I just want to make sure there aren't any major issues with this. I don't even care at this point about ettiquite- ettiquite doesn't have to pay my bills!! Thanks for any input/advice/ideas!

Everyone in my bridal party is OOT (including us) so we are having the rehearsal dinner on Friday and the wedding on Saturday.

The night before is fine.
Good luck.

We're having our rehearsal dinner the night before but, it's going to be BP and OOT guests.

Our RD will be the night before (if we ever plan it). Can you have the dinner early, before you meet with the Pastor at 7 so that it is an early night?

2 ppl in my bp are oot so the rehearsal and dinner will be on Friday, with the wedding on Saturday.

I think your timing is fine and it'll be the perfect tme to relax and have fun before the real excitement starts. Just don't stay out too late!

We had our RD the night before the wedding. It was a great way to relax and unwind with family and close friends.
