I want to change my brown with blonde highlights to a light brown (no blonde) for the wedding. How far in advance from the wedding should I do it?
TIA

I would start NOW! Blonde is very hard to get rid of. Is your hair person going to cover the brown with low-lights, or are you doing a standard dye job (single process, or double if need be)?

Oh I had no idea blonde was hard to get rid of -- I don't know what type of processing I would need!

I don't know anything about that, sorry. I have just had blonde highlights for like 10 years, and when I tried to dye it back to my natural color, it washed out in like 1 week. so, talk to your colorist and see what the best option is. my girl told me that she could do it, but it just takes a while (in the chair, and then also I think you have to go back sooner than normal to get it re-done to make sure it holds).

Linda, last time I was at my hair place was late June. I made two appts - one for the week of 8/23 and one for the week of my wedding, and I can already see that I may need to go before then .. which will screw up my wholllle schedule. If I have to go in mid august, i will have to go in late sept. and AGAIN in late oct. grrrr.

It's too much blonde for me - doesn't look bad (but my roots a plainly showing) I guess I should check with a colorist

I would do it now.... This way about a week before the wedding you'll know you like the color and all you need is a touch up...
