Timing photography on your wedding day. (ceremony+reception at same place)
So ladies.... how much time do you need beforehand to take pictures with FH? If my ceremony is at 11 would taking pics at 9:30 be okay? Or should I start at 9 and give myself a little time to relax before walking down the aisle. Is 1hr-1.5hrs way off?
Also, how many hours does your package include? I see some offer packages from 6-8 hours. Do you have your photog throughout the whole ceremony and reception?
I'm on a budget here, another option we have is hiring someone with an hourly rate... would I be missing out on too much those last 1-2 hours? (ceremony at 11, reception from 11:30-4:30)
Thanks :)

My ceremony starts at 5PM at the RH and we are taking pics at OWG at 2 so the photog is coming to my house at about 11-12. Havent really decided the exact time yet.....

I'm also have an 11 am ceremony. I want the photographer to be there for me getting ready and then to take pictures before the ceremony. To me, that's more important than her being there til the last minute. I think my package is 6-7 hours, but I might pay for an additional hour just to get us to 4:00.

I, too am having ceremony at 12:30, so we will have pics taken earlier, we want to enjoy the cocktail hours too. I'm lucky, I am having my brother and his girlfriend ( who are photographers) take my pics. My bro can cover the males in the morning of, and g/f will cover me and my party.
