Timing Question

Timing Question

My aunt (whom I hardly speak to but is invited to the wedding) was asking my grandmother (her mom) whether the wedding is still happening, b/c they haven't received an invite yet. I have a little over 5 months before the wedding (july 5th), and was planning to wait until March to send out the invites. Is my timing off or is aunt's timing off?

I am bit upset and confused

Re: Timing Question

alina, you are right on schedule.

Who sends an invite 5 months in advance?

Do not be upset. If you want you can wait until April.

Re: Timing Question

alina .. if you sent out std's, then you're ok. I'd still send them out a little early b/c of the holiday, tho. maybe 10-12 weeks instead of 8.

Your timing is not off! 2-3 months before is sufficient!

Re: Timing Question

Don't send out to far in advance since people might forget. 2 months is good.

Re: Timing Question

Thanks girls. Just wanted to confirm.
They did not mean STD's, they meant invites.

I still don't understand why they asked if they know when the date is?
