Re: Timing questions

I think my shower will probably be some time in August. FH and I still haven't registered, but we have to soon. Maybe I can get him to do it this weekend.

Re: Timing questions

My shower will be about two months before the wedding just beacause we have 2 other weddings right around that time. We registered before X-mas because we bought a house in July and knew a lot of people would be buying us 'house' gifts for X-mas and I didn't want to get a lot of crap I didn't want. I know.....I was acting very self-centered!!!!

Re: Timing questions

So if I registered in January then had my shower in April, that would be ok?

How do you let everyone know where you are registered? Is it on the shower invites?

Re: Timing questions

I think its all based on the situation...we registered because people were asking what to get us for engagement gifts and as far as a shower, FH's cousin is getting married in Dec and its the same people ate both showers so I'll either have an early shower like in OCT or a late one in like FEB...
