Penguins choose one mate (at least, per year) and are pretty damn dedicated to the whole thing . . . so it's not bad choice. I think elephants mate for life, but ugh, that's not a good symbol!!!

If you haven't seen 'March of the Penguins' -- I KNOW, I was skeptical too!!! -- see it!!! it's awesome. It' s so amazing how they choose one another, and cherish their one egg as a couple . . . too cute!!!

They go through alot . . . much more than us LIBrides . . .hehehe.

and when penguins choose a mate, they give them a rock.....kinda similar huh?

(i learned that from a card FH gave me to me for vday last year, when we knew we wanted to get engaged, he just didnt have the money for a real one & he said that card would have to do.. )
