tiny little rant about a mu trial
I don't want to make a fuss, but I just needed to vent about a hair and make-up trial I had yesterday. The make-up was awful. It was airbrushed and it was so cakey and thick compared to the two trials I had previously. I felt like I had a mask on - that's how awful it felt on.
Just a word about this... not all airbrush jobs are the same. Make sure you go to someone who knows how to use the instrument!
To her credit, she did a wonderful job on my hair and if what happened today didn't happen, I was considering booking her for hair only.
So about today... I actually got an e-mail from her telling me she is available for my day and would i like to schedule a trial. Huh? I just met with her yesterday! Obviously she's confused, but even so - she's telling the person she doesn't know is me that she's available on my wedding day! So basically, she's scheduling trials for my day without even giving me 24 hours to give her an answer. Very bizarre.
So to make a long story short - I just put my hard earned money into the mail to the Pedala sisters. They may be expensive, but I'm losing my shirt on all these trials. I might as well spend it on people who are talented and know who I am and when my wedding is!
