how much should i tip if my trial cost $125 ??
i know it's a retarded question, but im bad with this stuff.
and if there is more then one stylist...do i have to tip em both? or let them split it?

if it's at the person's house (and they're keeping the entire $125), i wouldn't tip.
if it's at a salon, i would probably tip $10-20 only if i liked what she did and was considering using her
if there's no chance you'll be using her for your wedding, don't tip ... you'll never see her again anyhow.

I'd tip $10 (I'm sure she'll understand considering is xmas and our weddings are supe close therefore we have a lot of other expenses!)

$25 is 20% of $125...
I would tip her the full 20% or maybe a little more if I was planning on using her.
If I had no intention of using her again I would still tip her 20%. She still performed the service so she deserves to be tipped.

If someone provides a quality service they should be tipped even if you never plan to see them again. IMHO it's just good taste
