tip hairdresser???? Please Help!
I'm paying $150 for this lady to come do my hair onmy wedding day (she's charging $90 to do my BM's
) I'm straightening my hair the night before not only to save some time, but my hair tends to look better the following day after I straighten it. I'm also going to be wearing my hair down, all she's doing is putting some of it back & putting on my tiara/veil on for me. So for this I am paying $150!!!!!!
My question is.....do I tip this lady for this???? She's not really going to be doing much other than sticking a few bobby-pins in my hair that day & putting some curls on the bottom.

Re: tip hairdresser???? Please Help!
From what I understand, if she works for herself there is no need to tip her because the whole 150.00 if going to her anyway. Usually, if they work for someone else who is getting part of the fee, you would. BTW, wow, that's a lot. If it were me, I probably would not tip b/c of the price. It seems she included a tip in the price already.

Yeah, she's working for herself that day. I think you're right, she's VERY pricy!
The only reason I'm using her was because my FH's aunt & cousins use her on a regular basis & she did his cousins hair for her wedding.

I'm a sucker for tips. I ALWAYS tip. I really think you shouldn't but I would give her at least $10. I don't know why but I would.

That is alot of money that she is makeing from you already but I also think maybe 10 dollars or so, just as a way of saying 'Thank You' might make you feel better .That was you dont have to second guess yourself the whole time she is working on you
