Tipping

How do you know who to tip and how much? Is there a tipping thread?

It's so cunfusing to me, I don't know why.

The guy at the hall told me:

Tip the priest 50 bucks

The Maitre'D gets 2 bucks pp

The bridal assistant gets 1 buck pp

my hall said 3-5 per person for Maitre D

$100 for head captain
$100 for bridal attendant

priest you can give him something or give a tip
I am not going to tip the band but will give them dinner & I think i am doing the same for the photographer/videographer.

there has been alot of talk about this though on these boards if you do a search for tipping.
