I am not tipping my seamstress. I am having mine done at David's Bridal and they already charge WAY TO MUCH for alterations!!!!

The average amount? $0.
They don't normally get tipped. If you want to give them something for going above and beyond, then maybe $20? ... but they don't normally get tipped.

Whew! Glad to hear most don't. It never crossed my mind and I don't want to tell FH we have yet another person to add to the tip budget.
