I am getting married this coming Friday the 11th and the only thing that I do not know what to do is how much to tip everyone. There are so many with hair, make-up, Dj, etc. Can someone help me and tell me what is a good amount? Thanks everyone so much!!!!

Re: tipping
I honestly have no idea being a soon-t-be-bride myself but Martha Stewart says on her wedding guide blog that you only need to tip people who work for other people. What I am saying is that if your hair and makeup ladies own their own business you are not EXPECTED to tip additionally, however you of course can tip more should you want to. Same goes for fotog etc ... afterall IMO the fotog will get his tip when I buy all the albums from him LOL!
From what I understand if the DJ/photographer/limo own the company tipping is optional. If they don't I was told not to tip more thn $150. If the DJ has 2 people they each get $50. Limo doesn't get that much since you aren't using them for 8 hours. So, that is up to you. Hair get 20 per person same with make-up. $3pp for matre De. $1pp for bathroom staff. $2pp for waitstaff and bartender. Hope it helps!!!
