How much do you think is appropriate for tippig Matri'd and bridal attendents for a 100 person reception?

I am looking around at halls now and they suggest $3-$5 per person. so if u are having 100 people then anywhere between 300 and 500 for the matre'd should be fine.

My hall gave us an idea of how much to tip the maitre d, and they said that $2-$3 pp is a good amount...We will probably end up giving somewhere between $275-$350 depending on how many guests we end up with.

you should check your contract because my matrid fee is included & when we booked we asked the banquet manager & he said thats all they should get.
is this correct??

My hall included $500 in the overall price.. for the tip of the matred

I would double check to see if the tipping is included in your costs. If not, it's usually $2-$3 a person, so In your case I would give him $200-$300 , or more if you think he went above and beyond for you.
We paid about $1,500 in tips that were included in our contract, so we wound up giving him a little extra, but not too much.
