If a vendor owns their own businesses...do you still tip? My mom and grandma were arguing about this with me because I had put down to tip my makeup person and they said I shouldn't because she owns her business.
i would say yes. but maybe not as much of a tip as i would if they didnt own the business

I did, because a lot of their payment still goes to cover business costs and not necessarily in their pocket.

I'm still tipping even if they own their own business...
We had a family argument about this to! FH's family says they never tip anyone, especially company owners, saying that the costs have tips built in! FH and I of course go by LIW standards so assumed we tipped everyone, even owners! We are confused to and are probably deciding day of how everyone does.
