tipping

i know this gets asked a lot...but here are my thoughts on tipping; can you ladies let me know if this seems ok/too much/too little?

DJ and MC (the DJ owns the company) $75 total

Photographer (main photographer owns company, bringing 1 additional photographer) $150 total

Videographer $75

Florist $25

Does this seem ok to put in envelopes and let the owners (photo & dj divide it amongst the two of them)

Please be honest...if you think these amounts arent enough

Re: tipping

i have a tipping guide that someone emailed me

Tipping Guideline

This is a guideline for tipping your vendors for the day of your event. Keep in mind that this is a guideline and you should give a gratuity based on performance of their services. If you feel that a vendor has gone above and beyond, then feel free to give more and vice versa. Also, check your contracts to see if a gratuity was already included. A general guideline is 15%-20% of fees paid.

Hair- $40-$50

Makeup- $40-$50

Photographer- $100-$175

Photog Asst.- $50-$100

Videographer- $100-$175

Limo- $40-$50 (each driver)-

DJ/MC- $100-$150

DJ asst. $40-$50

Band- 10% of cost

Officiant- $25-$50 (not priest or church official)

Ceremony/ Cocktail Hour Music- $25-$50 (each musician)

Bridal Attendant- $75-$100

Maitre-D’- $3-$5 per person

Coordinator’s Assistant- $75-$100

Coordinator- Your discretion

*It is always a good idea to keep an envelope with some extra money (small bills) for the unexpected assistant or if a vendors services are extraordinary.
