I am planning on just putting a total tip in an envelope to each vendor and having them distribute it how they feel. Should I be seperating each tip for each person?

we didn't. we put the total tip in envelopes for each vendor 'group'. we did put our maitre d and bridal attendant in seperate envelopes.
