Tipping
So to all past brides...Curious how much money you wound up giving out in tips the actual day of your wedding? Between photographer, videographer, DJ, mc, limo drivers, bridal attendant, maitre d... And the other people I'm forgetting lol. Wondering how much I should prepare to put aside for all that tipping!

Re: Tipping
My FMIL said that they tipped the maitre'd at my FSIL's wedding many years ago $500. Whoa....I forget why she said she gave that much but I guess they did a lot of work since it was a big Italian wedding. I'm gonna need to know the answers to all this too!

I was told $1 per person at your wedding for the Bridal Attendant and $4-5 per person for the maitre D.. that's coming from the banquet manager

If you search on LIW there are posts from past brides that have the average tip. I used that as a guideline. You have to give what you feel comfortable with and can afford.Def look at your contract. I know mine said we were to tip bewteen $3-5 per person for our MD. The 20% service fee covered wait staff, bartenders, etc....
