Tipping

I'm having a mini panic attack about affording everything as it's getting closer and closer. Does anyone have any idea how much you're supposed to tip everyone and who exactly I should tip? I didn't put tips into my calculations for budget and then saw the post on tipping the maitre d $3-#5/guest and it raised my anxiety sky high. Thanks for the help in advance.

Tipping - Long Island Weddings

A lot of girls posted some great suggestions and breakdowns on who to tip and how much in this thread:

It was really helpful for me, and helped FH and I decided how much to set aside for everything.

I'm having the same problem! We definitely didn't take that into consideration. I read a thread on here and really wish that I had never saw it haha The venue did recommend that I tip the maître d $3-5/pp

Thank you! I started thinking of all the vendors and if it was 20% like if you were at a restaurant and I got really nervous.

Re: Tipping

Here is the tip list that I'm doing for Saturday...

Priest: $100
Altar Servers: $30 each (they're my students so I'm giving them more than I would if I didn't know them)
Ceremony Music: $50

DJ: $100
MC: $100
Photo Booth Attendant: $50

Photographer: $100 (and we also gave $50 for our engagement pics)
Photographer Asst: $75
Videographer: $100

Flower Delivery: $25 (I'm only getting bouquets and boutonnieres, not centerpieces)

Make-Up - $30
Hair - $20 (I feel that I'm already paying an exorbitant amount for my hair, that's why she's getting tipped less)

RR Phantom Driver: $100
Party Bus Driver: $100
End of the Night Drop Off: $20
*I was told shuttle gratuity is included in the price

Bridal Attendant: $50 each
Maître'D: $4 per person

Hope that helps!!
