Commenting on this to get on the thread because i'd like to know the same, and i'm also wondering what everyone tipped the other vendors as well.

We tipped $10-$15 per hour based on the amount of time the vendor would be at our wedding (photo, video, dj, live music, photobooth attendant, doc, etc) or 20% for people like Hair, makeup, etc.

we did $6 a person and then added a little extra because it was a holiday. My bridal attendant was Iris and she was amazing. She is actually the one who sets everything up-candles, frames, wishing tree and other décor. So, we tipped her more than the recommended rate. But, again it was a holiday. Who/what is the butler? Is that new?

No, at my venue the Maitre D splits it with them so we gave over $5 pp. But, I think splitting depends on the venue, I assume that is why the range for maitre d varies(???)

We did not tip separately. btw-if you are having signature drinks, make sure your bartenders know what is in them! They are premade so the bartenders just pour them. Our guests were asking what they were and the bartenders couldn't give them an answer-a little embarrassing! We did have menus but they just listed the name of the drink, not what was in it. And, of course we gave them cute names, not the actual name of the drink so our guests were a little confused. A minor thing but it did kind of annoy me.

thanks for the tip!!! I might have a sign made with the ingredients since we are also doing names
