I have a friend getting married this weekend who was asking me if she needed to tip her BM. She was told that none the Maitre D tip goes to the banquet manager so she wasn't sure if a tip is expected. Have any of you tipped or plan to tip you BM?

we did not tip the BM. I saw some posts back then where some girls thought that the BM might get a commission from the wedding and that a tip wasn't needed.

I am sooo against tipping for some of the vendors. But yes we did tip the BM (not a lot but just to say thanks).

i am hoping my BM is my MD. it will solve this question for me...plus i do like our BM, so at least i wouldnt totally miiiiinnndd tipping him....well see i guess...
but probably not. maybe we will give him a favor. lololol
